Wabtec will provide JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZ) with a digital KinetiX system based on artificial intelligence technologies free of charge. The new solution will allow online diagnostics of the rolling stock condition, reducing risks associated with the human factor and increasing the safety and efficiency of transportation.
According to KTZ, the implementation of KinetiX will provide predictive analysis to prevent malfunctions, speed up train inspections and increase throughput at stations. The system is expected to reduce the time for technical operations and improve the accuracy of diagnostic information, ensuring round-the-clock control of train movement.
Wabtec will also undertake the installation, integration and commissioning of the system, and will provide its service for two years, which will accelerate the adaptation of the new technology on the railways of Kazakhstan.
