Ulrich Lange, Member of the Bundestag and Parliamentary State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Transport, led the opening ceremony, along with representatives from politics and business. The Federal Government supported the project with approximately \u20ac19 million, representing approximately 79% of the total eligible investment.<\/p>\n<p>Operational management of the terminal was entrusted to Contargo CombiTrac Straubing-Sand GmbH, a joint venture between Contargo and SFI GmbH. Thanks to the partner\u2019s experience and extensive network, the terminal was provided with all the necessary prerequisites for successful operation. Josef R\u00e4dlinger Bauunternehmen GmbH from Cham was responsible for the construction of the project, ensuring the timely completion of all phases.<\/p>\n<p>The new terminal strengthens the Port of Straubing-Sand\u2019s position as a key transport hub in Lower Bavaria.
