If the deal is approved, the company will take over the management of the facility, which handles Ro-Ro cargo, bulk and general cargo.<\/p>\n<p>Liepaja is the third largest port in Latvia and part of a free economic zone that includes a port, an industrial area and an airport. At present, Stena Line already serves the Liepaja-Travem\u00fcnde route with two ferries, and also operates Ventspils-Nyn\u00e4shamn flights. From May 2023, the company will manage port operations in the country\u2019s second largest port, Ventspils.<\/p>\n<p>The acquisition of Terrabalt requires approval from the Latvian Antimonopoly Committee and other regulators.
