In 2024\u20132025, new routes were launched: Rotterdam\u2013Cologne, Antwerp\u2013Madrid, Duisburg\u2013Hallsberg, and the L\u00fcbeck\u2013Verona service was reopened. The strategically important project to change the traction operator was completed: 14 railway companies, including KombiRail Europe and SBB Cargo International, now provide services across the entire network. Operating revenue amounted to \u20ac434.6 million, almost at the 2023 level, while the company\u2019s customers saved 1.12 million tonnes of CO\u2082 emissions.<\/p>\n<p>Kombiverkehr has sharply criticized the German railway infrastructure and called on the federal government to urgently review the maintenance corridor policy. Due to massive construction work and the lack of bypass routes, up to 15% of trains are cancelled, which places a financial burden on customers.
