The project includes the creation of working groups that will deal with the implementation of 5G infrastructure, monitoring of port infrastructure using AI and cybersecurity. Teams of experts have already begun working together, and pilot projects are being prepared, which will be supervised by LMT and the Hamburg Port Authority.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>As LMT Vice President <strong>Ingmars Puikis<\/strong> noted, the ports of Riga and Hamburg are becoming leaders in digitalisation: \u201cThe introduction of modern technologies is not only a matter of efficiency and sustainability, but also a strategic advantage in international logistics.
