The project, worth up to \u20ac932 million, covers the entire Estonian section of the future passenger line from Tallinn to Ikla, and is an important step towards launching traffic between Tallinn and Warsaw by 2030.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"446\" src=\"https:\/\/gruzingeo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/1747401687283-700x446-1.jpg\" alt=\"GRK and Bouygues to build Rail Baltica highway in Estonia for \u20ac932 million.\" class=\"wp-image-13114\" title=\"Rail GRK and Bouygues to build Rail Baltica highway in Estonia for \u20ac932 million.\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Rail Baltica<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The first contract, worth \u20ac394 million, covers overground and underground works on the \u00dclemiste\u2013P\u00e4rnu and Tootsi\u2013P\u00e4rnu sections. It is being implemented by an alliance led by GRK Suomi Oy, which also includes GRK Eesti AS, Merko Ehitus Eesti, TSO SAS and Sweco. The second contract, worth \u20ac332 million, covers the full cycle of design and construction of the P\u00e4rnu\u2013Ikla section, with Bouygues Travaux Publics as the lead partner. Both teams include leading international and local players.<\/p>\n<p>According to Anvar Salomets, the head of Rail Baltic Estonia, the signing of the contracts marks the beginning of a new stage \u2013 construction now covers the entire Estonian section.
