The decline was recorded in almost all key areas, including dry bulk cargo and container shipping. The exception was liquid cargo, the volume of which increased by 3.8% \u2013 to 55.13 million tons, of which 47.64 million tons were crude oil and oil products. <\/p>\n<p>Against the background of the general decline, only two ports demonstrated positive dynamics: Swinoujscie increased its volumes by 3.5% (to 18.98 million tons), and Police \u2013 by 39.2% (to 1.07 million tons). The main blow fell on the country\u2019s largest port, Gdansk, where transshipment decreased by 11% (to 71.03 million tons), as well as Gdynia (-10%, 23.26 million tons) and Szczecin (-16.1%, 9.92 million tons).<\/p>\n<p>Container shipments decreased by 9.3%, amounting to only 24.35 thousand tons. Dry bulk cargo decreased by 28.2% \u2013 to 30.39 million tons, with coal and coke volumes falling especially (-50.1%). At the same time, inland waterway traffic increased by 25.4% (to 4.4 million tons), while international turnover decreased by almost 10% \u2013 to 119.8 million tons.
