The work will cover the stations of In\u010dukalns, Eglupe, Sigulda, L\u012bgatne, Ieriki, Lode, Valmiera, Stren\u010di and Valka. It is planned to build new platforms, update the track infrastructure, create amenities for passengers with limited mobility and improve pedestrian areas and lighting. Applications will be accepted until 20 May 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The project is being implemented within the framework of the fourth stage of the Latvijas dzelzce\u013c\u0161 Station Modernisation Programme, which will last until 2029. The goal is to develop the railway as a key element of public transport in the country. In total, the programme will cover at least 97 stations and stops \u2013 about 70% of the entire passenger network. Financing is provided by the EU and the company itself.<\/p>\n<p>The previous stages included the construction of permanent and temporary platforms in different directions \u2013 from Jurmala to Bolderaja.
