According to CEO Thilo Schmid, the project will improve logistics efficiency. Plans include a border control point and a new entry terminal for oversized cargo.<\/p>\n<p>The complex is equipped with environmentally friendly solutions, including a hybrid timber structure, solar panels to power electric forklifts, a rainwater collection system and the airport\u2019s first heat pump system.
