The operator of the facility is Haitong Taicang, a joint venture between Shanghai Port International Group (SIPG), Jiangsu Port Logistics Group and Chinese auto giant SAIC Motor.<\/p>\n<p>The Taicang terminal has a capacity of 1.3 million vehicles per year and covers an area of \u200b\u200b960,000 square meters. Its 708-meter-long berth allows it to simultaneously service two Ro-Ro vessels with a deadweight of 70,000 tons and one sea car carrier.
