The Port of Hamburg\u2019s presentation was held under the motto \u201cSustainability in the context of the energy transition\u201d, reflecting the importance of international cooperation in creating more sustainable supplies. This was a key issue at the 5th German Logistics Roundtable, organized as part of the fair.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThe strong interest from the participants shows that we are moving in the right direction with our focus on sustainability,\u201d said <strong>Axel Mattern<\/strong>, Managing Director of Port of Hamburg Marketing (HHM).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Hamburg\u2019s strong links with Chinese ports are confirmed by the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding between the Shanghai Municipal Transport Commission, the Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) and major Chinese companies to establish a \u201cgreen\u201d shipping corridor.
