During the visit, they met with Rail Baltica Airport Project Manager Arnolds Timofejevs and PR Manager Linda Pastare from Eiropas Dzelzce\u013ca l\u012bnijas, who spoke about the current stages of the project and its significance for the airport\u2019s development.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1160\" height=\"773\" src=\"https:\/\/gruzingeo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/rb_1309-8-1160x773-1.jpg\" alt=\"Finnish designers visited the construction site of the Rail Baltica station in Riga.\" class=\"wp-image-7733\" title=\"Rail Finnish designers visited the construction site of the Rail Baltica station in Riga.\"><\/figure>\n<p>The Finnish delegation paid special attention to the architectural and technical solutions of the future station, inspired by the nature of Latvia and the Baltic Sea. The station has been designed taking into account environmental aspects and the traditions of wooden architecture, which underlines the project\u2019s commitment to sustainable development. Wood will be used in the finishing of the fa\u00e7ade and the passenger platform, which fits harmoniously with the airport\u2019s development plans.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1160\" height=\"774\" src=\"https:\/\/gruzingeo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/rb_1309-80-1160x774-1.jpg\" alt=\"Finnish designers visited the construction site of the Rail Baltica station in Riga.\" class=\"wp-image-7734\" title=\"Rail Finnish designers visited the construction site of the Rail Baltica station in Riga.\"><\/figure>\n<p>The construction of the Rail Baltica station is being carried out by the PROSIV consortium, which includes companies from Italy, Slovakia and Latvia. Sitowise representatives also got acquainted with the progress of the work under the supervision of Alexey Tokarev, construction manager of B.S.L.
