Maritime Transport operates more than 30 rail routes and eight freight terminals across the UK, including Wakefield, Manchester, Tilbury and Birmingham. The company\u2019s fleet includes more than 1,600 trucks.<\/p>\n<p>According to Loadstar analyst Alessandro Pasetti, the deal could be worth between \u00a3300 million and \u00a3500 million ($400 million-$660 million). In 2023, Maritime Transport\u2019s revenue reached \u00a3404 million, with operating profits of more than \u00a320 million.<\/p>\n<p>The company previously acquired a controlling stake in Spanish freight carrier Renfe Mercanc\u00edas and acquired a stake in Italian high-speed rail operator Italo.
