Port infrastructure operator Stadtwerke Koblenz invested in the expansion of the terminal, increasing its area by 4,660 m\u00b2 to 21,000 m\u00b2. This made it possible to add a 1,000 TEU depot, giving the terminal a total capacity of 4,200 TEU.<\/p>\n<p>The expansion also included an increase in the quay length to 330 meters, which allows two container bridges and two barges to be handled simultaneously. As a result, parallel operations with two barges are now possible.
