This agreement aims to enhance cooperation in decision-making, focusing on determining the optimal route for the railway line.<\/p>\n<p>Minister of Transport and Communications Marius Skuodis emphasized the rail line\u2019s importance for Lithuania and the entire Baltic Sea region during a round table discussion. He stated that the project is vital for enhancing regional connectivity and economic growth. LTG Group CEO Egidijus Lazauskas announced plans for an architectural modeling study of the Lithuanian railway network, which will propose at least three route alternatives to Klaip\u0117da, considering technological and regulatory aspects.<\/p>\n<p>The urgency of this project is highlighted by its significance for the Port of Klaip\u0117da. With the upcoming Rail Baltica railway potentially diverting cargo flows away from Klaip\u0117da, the new rail line is crucial to maintaining the port\u2019s competitiveness.
