This SCANIA 45R model, powered by 450 KW from three electric motors, represents the first zero-emission Scania tractor introduced in the country. The electric vehicle will transport containers between customer loading locations in Kalisz and Leszno and the Schavemaker railway terminal in K\u0105ty Wroc\u0142awskie.<\/p>\n<p>Once at the railway terminal, the containers will be loaded onto Schavemaker\u2019s fully electric trains, heading to Moerdijk in the Netherlands. From there, they will either be delivered within the Netherlands and Belgium or shipped to Great Britain. The SCANIA 45R, equipped with a 400 kW fast charger, can complete the 270 km route up to four times a day, including 50-minute charging sessions after each trip.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative is part of Schavemaker\u2019s commitment to integrating alternative energy sources into their operations, aiming for greener and more efficient supply chains.
