This endeavor focuses on developing an innovative exhaust gas treatment technology and prototype plant for diesel engines, with real-world testing slated to occur aboard LVR Flote vessels.<\/p>\n<p>Driven by Latvian scientists\u2019 expertise, the project aims to pioneer a marine exhaust gas treatment plant that exceeds current industry standards in environmental sustainability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. By curbing harmful emissions and fostering a circular economy approach, this technology holds promise in aiding the shipping sector to achieve its ambitious targets for reducing sulphur and CO2 emissions.
