The Szczecin and \u015awinouj\u015bcie Seaports Authority secured the CEF-T-2023-MILMOB-WORKS grant, covering 50% of eligible investment costs, totaling EUR 4,351,923.86 or PLN 19,583,653. The overall project cost is EUR 8,975,539.99, equivalent to PLN 40,389,000, with eligible costs valued at EUR 8,703,847.71.<\/p>\n<p>The investment encompasses two key tasks. Firstly, the construction of a high-load-bearing reloading yard near the newly electrified track system at Ostr\u00f3w Grabowski will enable the parallel operation of two block trains, each with a length of 750 meters. This facilitates access to railway infrastructure near the Norwegian and Finnish quays. Additionally, the project involves the reconstruction of the Ro-Ro ramp at the Sp\u00f3\u0142dzielcze-Fi\u0144skie quay, allowing for the servicing of larger Ro-Ro ships and military equipment. The modernization will include a new stormwater drainage system, eliminating existing rain ditches, and establishing a protected area with a constructed fence.<\/p>\n<p>The second task focuses on the reconstruction, strengthening, and widening of the existing Ro-Ro ramp at the Sp\u00f3\u0142dzielcze-Fi\u0144skie quay to 30 meters. This enhancement will accommodate the largest Ro-Ro ships visiting the port of Szczecin, equipped with wide unloading frames.
