Multimodal logistics (MML) is surging, with RCG, Europe\u2019s premier rail logistics specialist, leading the charge. RCG excels in crafting tailored end-to-end logistics solutions, leveraging diverse transportation modes, prioritizing eco-friendly rail travel for the main route and flexible road transport for the first and last mile.<\/p>\n

MFD Rail, a wagon hire company dedicated to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, is integral to this effort. Their specially designed container carrier wagons, tailored to RCG\u2019s needs, are optimized for the innovative MOBILER configuration. This, coupled with the MOBILER\u2019s hydraulic lifting system, enables seamless goods transfer between trains and trucks without the need for a crane or siding. This progressive logistics solution is particularly utilized for environmentally friendly rail transport of waste, with over 200,000 tons contracted for 2023 and a substantial increase expected in 2024.
