The project is funded by the NextGenerationEU program and Spain\u2019s Sustainable and Digital Transport Development Plan, which promotes both the technical modernization of the industry and its integration into a single, low-carbon European logistics space.<\/p>\n<p>The fleet expansion supports the key European Mediterranean corridor, improving standard-gauge interoperability and increasing the share of rail freight between Spain and Central Europe.
