The new 20,000-square-foot facility features three docks and a fleet of on-site vehicles for efficient pickup and delivery services in the local market.<\/p>\n<p>Savannah is a key hub in Maersk\u2019s network, anchored by the rapidly growing Port of Savannah and direct access to I-95 and I-16. The new terminal complements Contract Logistics\u2019 existing facilities and recent openings in Lake City, Georgia, and Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, creating a regional system of integrated services and accelerating connections to major markets in the Southeastern United States.<\/p>\n<p>According to Bob Livingston, head of Maersk Ground Freight Operations in North America, the company continues to invest in developing a more connected logistics network.
