This is the operator\u2019s first route of this format in the region. The service operates on a fixed weekly schedule, calling at Riga (Latvia), Gdynia (Poland), Tispoor and Tilbury (UK), Rotterdam (Netherlands), and Oslo (Norway).<\/p>\n<p>The line\u2019s capacity is 1,160 TEU per leg. Through the port of Tilbury, one of the UK\u2019s key short-sea and ocean hubs, shippers have access to fast transhipment connections to Spain and Portugal. The launch of BALTEX expands Ellerman City Liners\u2019 presence in the Baltic region and strengthens the company\u2019s position on the Rotterdam-Oslo corridor.<\/p>\n<p>The new service is the latest addition to Ellerman City Liners\u2019 Northern European shortsea portfolio, which already includes the iNEX 1, iNEX 2, iPEX 1 and 2, iPEX 3, and iBEX 1 routes.
