It is noted that the new agreements will improve the operational efficiency of the BTK line, a key link in the Middle Corridor, and will create conditions for increasing freight traffic volumes.<\/p>\n<p>ADY previously completed large-scale repair and modernization work on a 184-kilometer section of the BTK in Georgia, which features challenging terrain. As a result, the line\u2019s throughput capacity increased from 1 million to 5 million tons per year. The main goal of the modernization was to increase the competitiveness of the Middle Corridor and transform the Baku\u2013Tbilisi\u2013Kars route into one of its key freight arteries.
