Specifically, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan and the Federal Ministry of Maritime Affairs of Pakistan, as well as a Memorandum of Understanding with the Federal Ministry of Railways of Pakistan. Furthermore, a cooperation agreement was signed between the ports of Aktau and Karachi on information exchange and professional development.<\/p>\n<p>The documents envisage the implementation of joint projects aimed at strengthening trade and economic ties and increasing transit traffic. During the talks, the parties emphasized Pakistan\u2019s growing role as a key logistics and transit hub in the region, which opens up additional opportunities for Kazakhstan to access international markets and diversify export routes.<\/p>\n<p>Special attention was paid to the potential of the ports of Karachi and Gwadar, as well as the development of the North-South international transport corridor and transit routes through Afghanistan.
