Following the talks, a decision was made for Georgia to join the International Association \u201cEurasian Transport Route.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Expanding the membership is expected to boost freight traffic along the Eurasian Transport Route, which is the southern branch of the Middle Corridor, and will also facilitate deeper regional cooperation. The parties specifically noted the route\u2019s significant potential for east-west transportation following the completion of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway.<\/p>\n<p>The International Association \u201cEurasian Transport Route\u201d was established on September 20, 2024, in Baku at the initiative of Azerbaijan. Its key objectives are attracting transit cargo, developing integrated logistics solutions, and optimizing transport processes.
