The project is positioned as a solution to the industry\u2019s key structural deficiency: the lack of integrated port infrastructure capable of simultaneously supporting the production, assembly, and logistics of large-scale offshore projects.<\/p>\n<p>Koverhar is not viewed as a classic marshalling port; it is being created as a unified industrial platform, integrating production, storage, sequential assembly, and shipping in a single location. This approach reduces the number of intermediate operations, eliminates multiple transhipments, and mitigates the risks of delays typical of traditional project logistics chains. The infrastructure is designed for scale: approximately 90 hectares of ready-made land with the potential to expand to 500 hectares, reinforced berths with a minimum load capacity of 20 t\/m\u00b2, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.<\/p>\n<p>The port is also adapted to various offshore energy technology solutions, from gravity-based structures (GBS) with on-site concrete production, casting, and curing of structures directly on site to monopiles, including storage, pre-assembly, and phased assembly. The components are planned to be moved directly to the berths using a flexible loading scheme using SPMT. Euroports emphasizes that the project reduces supply chain risks thanks to ready-made infrastructure, independent of future investment decisions, and provides predictable access to port capacity for developers.
