Designed to carry 742 TEU, the new vessel marks a significant step forward in the development of eco-friendly fleets for coastal shipping.<\/p>\n<p>The container ship measures 127.8 meters in length and 21.6 meters in beam, with a design draft reaching 6.2 meters. The vessel\u2019s cargo capacity is estimated at approximately 9,600 tons, making it highly efficient for use on regional routes characterized by high-density container traffic.<\/p>\n<p>The vessel\u2019s design was developed by the Shanghai Merchant Ship Design &amp; Research Institute, while its electric propulsion system was created by the Shanghai Marine Equipment Research Institute.
