Representatives of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, JSC NC KazAvtoZhol, and other stakeholders also participated in the event.<\/p>\n<p>In his speech, Kanat Almagambetov covered all key segments of the industry. In road transportation, he noted the high average age of the truck fleet \u2013 approximately 15 years compared to 8 years in Russia and Belarus \u2013 and the shortage of professional drivers, proposing government support programs for equipment upgrades and personnel training. In the railway sector, the issue of excessive inspections of transit cargo at the Dostyk and Altynkol stations was raised: in the first quarter of 2026 alone, their number increased by 53%, leading to higher costs and delays. A proposed solution is to transfer inspections to the destination country. In water transport, KAZLOGISTICS advocated for the implementation of the \u201cown cargo, own fleet\u201d principle through state support for shipbuilding in the Caspian Sea.
