In 2024, the Group and the company had reported negative EBIT of PLN -2,691.4m (EUR -620.7m) and PLN -2,582.8m (EUR -595.6m), respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The company stated that the improvement reflects restructuring measures implemented during the year, including changes to organisational structure, employment levels, asset management and operational processes. Within the Capital Group, management focused on reducing fixed costs and adjusting the asset portfolio while maintaining key contracts and operational capacity.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/gruzingeo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/x762b0077055acdd6-jpg-pagespeed-ic_-vkeloiz-1l.webp\" alt=\"PKP Cargo achieves a net profit in 2025.\" class=\"wp-image-20323\" title=\"Europe PKP Cargo achieves a net profit in 2025.\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>PKP Cargo<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Management and the appointed administrator prioritised liquidity and operational stabilisation during the first full year of the process.<\/p>\n<p>The restructuring plan was approved by the judge-commissioner on 18 March 2026.
