The project, valued at approximately 30 million euros, is being developed on an 8-hectare site and is scheduled for completion by the spring of 2027. The new facility will become an integral part of the company\u2019s European logistics network, providing enhanced capabilities for freight transport between the Allg\u00e4u region and international markets.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new complex will feature 11,000 square meters of cargo handling space, 2,750 square meters of warehouse facilities, and 1,000 square meters of office space. The terminal will be capable of simultaneously accommodating up to 125 trucks engaged in both regional and international transport operations. DACHSER anticipates that the project will generate approximately 90 new jobs, bringing the total workforce at its Memmingen logistics center to over 900 employees.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company is placing particular emphasis on digitalization and sustainability. The terminal will be equipped with next-generation technologies, including the \u201c@ILO\u201d digital twin system, which automatically identifies and measures freight units to enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, the project includes the installation of a 1 MW rooftop solar power system, the development of charging infrastructure for electric trucks, and a connection to a district heating network.
