The agreement aims to organize vehicle-ferry transport between the two ports and redirect a portion of cargo flows from the China\u2013Central Asia\u2013Port of Turkmenbashi route to the route passing through Kuryk and Makhachkala.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Implementation of these arrangements is expected to create more efficient logistics chains and expand opportunities for carriers operating between Europe and Asia. The parties emphasized their interest in the further development of this joint route, which could serve as an additional transport corridor for Trans-Caspian shipping and strengthen international ties within the region.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Port Kuryk is located on the eastern coast of the Caspian Sea in the Bekovich-Cherkassky Bay; it handles the transshipment of grain, petroleum products, fertilizers, chemicals, and other cargo, offering favorable conditions for ferry operations.
