At the same time, the share of transit traffic on the Asia\u2013Europe route fell to 11%. For comparison, this route accounted for an average of 14% of total container traffic on the Polish rail network between 2017 and 2022, peaking at 17% during the pandemic years of 2020\u20132021.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Transit volumes dropped significantly after 2022 but subsequently began a rapid recovery driven by renewed demand for transport between Asia and Europe.
