Yusen Logistics France has opened a new logistics centre in Dunkirk. The ceremony was attended by Yusen Logistics Group President Hiroyuki Okamoto, Japanese Ambassador to France Makita Shimokawa, as well as representatives of local authorities and ports. With this move, the company strengthens its position in Northern France and expands its influence internationally.
The new facility, with an area of 21,000 m², is equipped with cutting-edge technologies to improve energy efficiency and environmental friendliness. It is BREEAM certified and is dedicated to pharmaceutical logistics, supporting the supply chain in the healthcare sector. The centre will also serve other industrial sectors, offering multimodal transport solutions.
Situated in a strategic area of the port of Dunkirk, the facility provides easy access to terminals and major transport arteries in Europe. The development of transport infrastructure is planned, which will create new opportunities for logistics and industry in the region.
