Tan Son Nhat Cargo Services (TCS), part of Vietnam Airlines Group, launched its first cargo flight for Turkish Cargo, the cargo division of Turkish Airlines, marking the beginning of a long-term partnership. The inauguration ceremony took place on October 1, 2025, at Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Ho Chi Minh City), following more than a year of negotiations.
Under the agreement, TCS provides full-cycle cargo handling, including hazardous and specialized shipments, based on IATA-certified infrastructure and standards. This cooperation strengthens Turkish Airlines’ position in Southeast Asia and underscores Vietnam’s growing importance in global logistics.
TCS noted that the agreement with Turkish Cargo is an important step toward establishing Vietnam as a key regional air cargo hub, especially ahead of the opening of the new Long Thanh International Airport.
