Arzybek Kozhoshev, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), held a working meeting in Abu Dhabi with Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, CEO of Abu Dhabi Ports Group, where the parties agreed on a cooperation protocol for 2025–2026. The document provides for the exchange of best practices in transport, infrastructure, and logistics digitalization, as well as a joint exploration of opportunities to establish new logistics hubs in EAEU countries.
Kozhoshev noted that the partnership with AD Ports Group, a global leader in port infrastructure and digital transport corridors, will be an important step in strengthening the Eurasian Economic Union’s international ties and developing cooperation with the UAE. The focus is on exploring the company’s technologies, including digital clusters and integrated trade and logistics solutions.
According to Al Shamisi, the agreements with the EEC pave the way for the unification of global trade routes. He emphasized that by sharing its experience in terminal management, maritime transport, and digital transformation, AD Ports Group intends to contribute to the creation of more sustainable and efficient supply chains, supporting the economic development of its partners on the international stage.
