A pilot train on the Korea-China-Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan route was launched at the Kazakh-Chinese logistics terminal in the port of Lianyungang. Representatives of the railway administrations of all four countries took part in the opening ceremony, emphasizing the importance of the event for international trade and cooperation.
The train, carrying auto parts, will travel 7 thousand kilometers, opening up new avenues of economic cooperation between the countries. The operator of the route in Kazakhstan is KTZ Express. At the ceremony, Deputy General Director for Commerce of KTZ Express Ulugbek Orazov noted that the launch of the train demonstrates the desire to develop joint multimodal transportation and opens up new horizons for trade.
