The Port of Gdansk has announced a tender for a 26.7-hectare site with access to the Rudowy Pier, next to the Baltic Hub, the largest container terminal on the Baltic. The site is located in the deep-water part of the port, known as the Northern Port, and includes a permit for the construction of a cargo handling and storage terminal with the necessary technical infrastructure.

The construction permit covers the creation of railway tracks, parking, roads, hydraulic infrastructure for mooring ships, as well as facilities for storing and handling grain. According to the spatial development plan, the area is designated for production and service needs, which makes it attractive to investors.

Access roads to the site have been significantly improved. In recent years, 7.2 km of roads have been renovated in the Northern Port and 10 km of railway tracks have been built, including access to the site. In addition, PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe has reconstructed over 70 km of railway tracks and 13 level crossings, which strengthens the region’s logistics infrastructure.
