The volume of cargo transportation along the Trans-Caspian route has increased more than fivefold.

The capacity of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) has reached 6 million tons per year. This was announced by the Minister of Transport of Kazakhstan Marat Karabayev during the government hour in the Majilis of the Parliament.

Over the past four years, the volume of transportation along the route has increased from 0.8 to 4.1 million tons per year, which indicates the growing importance of the corridor for international trade. At the same time, cargo delivery times have been significantly reduced: instead of 58-60 days, cargo is now delivered in 13-15 days.
