Japanese company Tsuneishi Shipbuilding has unveiled the world’s first Ultramax bulk carrier with dual-fuel methanol engines.
The bulk carrier is scheduled to be delivered to the customer in the spring of 2025. Using methanol as a fuel will significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions, which meets modern requirements for the environmental friendliness of maritime transport.
