Yuzhny Port has tripled its cargo handling in one year of operation of the Black Sea corridor.

During the year of operation of the Black Sea corridor, the port of Yuzhny in Ukraine handled 27.6 million tons of cargo, which is almost three times more than under the Grain Initiative. From September 2023 to August 2024, the port handled 11.7 million tons of agricultural cargo and 15.9 million tons of ore and metal products.

The second largest volume was the port of Chornomorsk, where 21.6 million tons of cargo were handled, most of which were agricultural. The port of Odessa handled 15.2 million tons of cargo during this period.

During the year of operation of the corridor, the Ukrainian ports of Greater Odessa handled 2,379 vessels, which delivered 64.4 million tons of cargo to 46 countries.
