Eurogate has opened a new railway terminal, Rail Gate, in Bremerhaven.

The new Rail Gate Bremerhaven terminal has been in operation at the Eurogate container terminal in Bremerhaven since 1 July 2025. The infrastructure comprises six 762-metre-long tracks and covers an area of ​​80,000 m², allowing for the handling of up to 330,000 containers per year. The total investment in the project amounted to 70 million euros.

FL Technics enters the Czech market with the acquisition of JOB AIR Technic.

FL Technics, a leading global provider of aircraft maintenance and repair (MRO) services and part of the international holding Avia Solutions Group, has announced the acquisition of the Czech company JOB AIR Technic. The deal provides for the transfer of 17,000 m² of production facilities at Leos Janacek Airport in Ostrava, the largest regional airport in the Czech Republic with a developed cargo and passenger infrastructure, to the management of FL Technics.

AMPU launched a test of the DocPort maritime module: Ukraine is preparing for a large-scale implementation of the Single Maritime Window.

The test launch of the DocPort marine module, the future basis of the Maritime Single Window implemented by the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA), has started in the Yuzhny seaport. The digital platform is designed to unite all administrative procedures related to the handling of vessels in ports, ensuring a one-time submission of data, transparency of actions and equal access to information for all participants in the process.

KAZLOGISTICS and Suzhou business delegation discussed the development of logistics cooperation.

On July 3, 2025, in Astana, in the office of JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, a working meeting was held between the Union of Transport Workers of Kazakhstan “KAZLOGISTICS” and its member companies with a business delegation from the Chinese city of Suzhou. The visit was organized with the support of the Suzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce and is aimed at developing partnerships in the fields of transport, logistics and foreign economic activity.

Central Asia embraces digital trade: Kazlogistics takes part in UN/CEFACT standards training.

A regional training program on digital trade and multimodal transportation for specialists from five Central Asian countries has started in Tashkent. Mukhtar Tolegen, Executive Director for Transport Logistics of the Union of Transport Workers “Kazlogistics”, took part in the training from Kazakhstan. The training is being held as part of a trade facilitation project commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and is aimed at implementing international UN/CEFACT standards in customs and logistics.

Swissport invests €1.5 billion in greening and expands operations in Italy.

Swissport will invest €1.5 billion over five years in the sustainable development of its global operations, primarily in the electrification of its ground vehicle fleet and the transition to renewable energy sources. Today, 25% of the company’s equipment runs on electricity, and at Swiss airports this figure will reach 55% by the end of 2025. Solar panels have also been installed at key cargo terminals in Frankfurt, Nairobi and Spain.

KTZ Express JSC and AD Ports Group announced the launch of GulfLink Ltd., a joint venture registered in Kazakhstan.
