Aviator Airport Alliance, the largest independent ground handling provider in Northern Europe and part of the Avia Solutions Group, signed its first contract with Tunisian airline Nouvelair for ground handling services at Helsinki Airport. The agreement came into effect on October 27 and covers a full range of operations, from passenger handling and ramp services to de-icing. Nouvelair operates weekly charter flights between Helsinki and Monastir.

Wizz Air has extended its long-standing partnership with FL Technics, reaffirming the trust and strategic importance of this collaboration. The updated agreement covers line maintenance services at the airline’s fleet bases in Bucharest (OTP) and Cluj-Napoca (CLJ), which are key hubs in its regional network.

Aviator Airport Services Finland, a subsidiary, will perform approximately 4,115 services annually: 56 weekly turnarounds in winter and up to 96 in summer, including passenger check-in, ramp services, and de-icing services.

The largest carriers in Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan signed major agreements with Boeing during a meeting between Central Asian leaders and the US President in Washington. Kazakhstan’s Air Astana led the way, announcing an additional order for 15 long-haul Boeing 787-9s: five confirmed aircraft, five options, and five purchase rights. Adding three previously ordered aircraft, expected to be delivered in 2026–2027, the company’s future Dreamliner fleet will grow to 18 aircraft with a total list price of $7 billion. The new batch will be delivered between 2032 and 2035.

SF Express, Asia’s largest logistics operator, has launched its first all-cargo airline to the UK in partnership with Air One. As part of a year-long charter program, four Boeing 747-400BDSF flights weekly connect Ezhou, China, with East Midlands Airport, providing four-day delivery times. The new route, which began operations on November 2, is optimized for time-sensitive cargo categories, from e-commerce to high-tech products and cold-chain goods.

Liege Airport (Belgium) and Chicago Rockford International Airport (USA) signed a sister airport partnership agreement at the Air Cargo Southeast Asia event in Singapore. The new alliance aims to strengthen cooperation in transatlantic air cargo transportation, expand traffic between the two hubs, and implement joint marketing and digital projects to improve logistics efficiency and service quality.

Aviator Airport Services Finland, a member of the Aviator Airport Alliance and providing a full range of aviation services at 15 Northern European airports, has extended its contract with Turkish Airlines for flight services at Helsinki Airport. The partnership between the companies began in 2023 and covers approximately 60 flights monthly.

Leasing company Airborne Capital has delivered a second wide-body Boeing 767-300BCF to Georgian airline Geosky Airlines under a long-term lease. This deal brings Geosky’s fleet to four aircraft of this type, strengthening the carrier’s position in the cargo air transportation market.

On October 21, 2025, a Central Airlines Boeing 777F cargo aircraft landed at Katowice Airport for the first time, inaugurating regular service between Chengdu, China, and Poland. The new route operates three to five times a week and is focused on delivering goods for Chinese online platforms.

Tan Son Nhat Cargo Services (TCS), part of Vietnam Airlines Group, launched its first cargo flight for Turkish Cargo, the cargo division of Turkish Airlines, marking the beginning of a long-term partnership. The inauguration ceremony took place on October 1, 2025, at Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Ho Chi Minh City), following more than a year of negotiations.
