Railport sent its first train and became a key point of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars corridor.

The Railport railway terminal in northwestern Turkey dispatched its first train, officially opening operations as the country’s first intermodal terminal. The project was implemented by a joint venture between Turkey’s Arkas and Germany’s Duisport, which positions Railport as the end point of the Baku–Tbilisi–Kars railway corridor and a key element of international logistics.

KAZLOGISTICS presented its vision for the development of transport links at the First Kazakh-Armenian Business Council.

On November 21, the First Kazakhstan-Armenia Business Council met in Astana, bringing together representatives of government agencies, businesses, and industry associations from both countries. Participants noted the growing potential for cooperation in industry, logistics, and technology exchange, while key national companies presented industry reports on the current status and prospects of the partnership.

KTZ strengthens international cooperation in Xi’an and promotes the development of the Trans-Caspian route.

During a working visit to China, a delegation from Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC visited the Xi’an Dry Port, Xianguojigang Station, and the Kazakhstan terminal, where they learned about operational processes and discussed new mechanisms for improving transportation efficiency. During the visit, KTZ Chairman of the Board, Talgat Aldybergenov, met with Xi’an Mayor Ye Niuping, at which the parties agreed to expand transport and logistics cooperation and increase freight volumes on international routes.

China Railways has joined Middle Corridor Multimodal Ltd., strengthening the development of the Trans-Caspian route.

China Railways has officially joined Middle Corridor Multimodal Ltd., an international company that manages the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route. The accession agreement was signed at the Second China-Europe Railway Corridor International Cooperation Forum, held in China. The accession was accomplished through China Railway Container Transport Company (CRCT).

Uzbekistan is accelerating its railway modernization, with plans to build new lines and expand high-speed rail service.

Uzbekistan has approved a large-scale plan for the development of its railway infrastructure through 2030, including the construction of over 150 km of new lines and the electrification of 182 km of existing lines. Following an industry meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, additional measures to strengthen the railway network were also outlined.
