Realterm acquired a logistics centre in Nijmegen.

Realterm has acquired a last mile logistics centre in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, just 18 km from the German border. The facility comprises 10,000 m² of logistics space and 3,500 m² of office space. It features dual access roads, 16 dock gates and two entrances and exits.

Contargo expands warehouse capacity in Crimmitschau.

Contargo Network Logistics has expanded its capacity in the Crimmitschau Business Park by leasing a second building with around 8,000 m² of warehouse space and 300 m² of social facilities to provide transport, warehouse logistics and added services. This expansion brings Contargo’s total floor area in Crimmitschau to 20,000 m².

Mabanaft invests in methanol storage in Germany.

Mabanaft plans to build a methanol storage infrastructure at the Blumensand terminal to supply low-carbon methanol to northern Germany. This will support customers switching to cleaner fuels. The company expects demand for methanol to grow in the shipping, transport and chemical industries.

Kazakhstan is recognized as a logistics leader in Central Asia.

Kazakhstan took first place among Central Asian countries in the Logistics Performance Index (LPI) ranking, taking 95th place out of 139 countries with a score of 2.7 points. It was followed by Uzbekistan (107th place, 2.6 points), Tajikistan (124th place, 2.5 points) and Kyrgyzstan (133rd place, 2.3 points). Thus, Kazakhstan demonstrates the best efficiency of logistics infrastructure and customs procedures in the region.

Kazakhstan and Estonia discussed cooperation in transport and logistics.

In Estonia, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of Kazakhstan Altay Kulginov and the Minister of Infrastructure of the Republic of Estonia Vladimir Svet, dedicated to the development of cooperation in the field of transport and logistics. The parties discussed the prospects for strengthening ties between the countries and noted mutual interest in new projects.

Logika expands SAE partner network in Greece.

The System Alliance Europe (SAE) freight network has strengthened its position in Greece by welcoming a third partner, Athens-based Logika. The logistics operator handles more than 70,000 freight shipments annually and has a fleet of 100 vehicles.
