Since February, Hellmann has taken on the role of a corporate partner at the Digital Hub Logistics in Hamburg (DHLH), contributing its wealth of expertise to advance sustainable innovation within the framework of a global medium-sized enterprise. As part of the German network “Digital Hub Initiative,” initiated by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection in collaboration with the Digital Association Bitkom, DHLH operates as an innovation hub, fostering collaboration among companies, investors, start-ups, and the scientific community to propel lasting innovations.

The mild winter is favoring the progress of work at the T3 terminal in the Baltic hub, where the main reinforced concrete work is being carried out entirely thanks to favorable weather conditions, especially high temperatures. Completion of the formation of reloading embankments on 98% of the area is planned by the end of February 2024, and soil consolidation on 70% of the loaded area opens up new fronts of work.

Maersk, previously uninterested in acquiring such large forwarding companies, hinted at a reconsideration during its Q4 2023 earnings call. Vincent Clerc, CEO of AP Moller Maersk, acknowledged the significance of the deal’s size and emphasized the need for Maersk to explore the potential acquisition, recognizing its impact on the logistics landscape.

On February 9, 2024, the Annual General Final Meeting of the Union of Transport Workers “KAZLOGISTICS” was held in Kazakhstan.
