The Port of Gdynia is included in the list of ten European ports that will play a decisive role in the transformation of supply chains, logistics and industrial investment in the coming years, according to a report by international investor Accolade. Experts note that against the backdrop of congestion in the largest European harbours, such as Rotterdam and Hamburg, it is flexible and investment-ready ports with developed infrastructure that come to the fore.

Meeting of KTZ and COSCO Shipping in Shanghai: new projects and strengthening of partnership.

The parties summed up the results of cooperation and discussed further development of partnership in the field of transport and logistics services. The Kazakhstan company presented key infrastructure projects that strengthen the country’s position as a strategic transit hub on the East-West and North-South routes.

KTZ Express is building six modern vessels for the development of the Trans-Caspian route.

JSC KTZ Express is launching a large-scale project to build six modern sea vessels that will form the basis for developing the national container fleet and increasing the capacity of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR). The new vessels will be adapted to the specific features of the Caspian Sea and inland waterways, which will ensure predictability of transit times and stability of multimodal transportation.

KTZ and Chinese partners discussed infrastructure development and the creation of new logistics hubs.

During a working visit to China, Chairman of the Board of JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy Talgat Aldybergenov held talks with the management of Sichuan Port and Shipping Investment Group (SPSI) and Chengdu International Railway Port Investment & Development (CIPI). Projects to create an international hub Kazakhstan – Xinjin (Chengdu), build grain terminals and agrohubs, and develop warehouse infrastructure were discussed. The Chinese side presented digital solutions based on artificial intelligence to optimize transportation routes.

WEC Lines has updated its services between Northern Europe, Portugal and the Canary Islands.

WEC Lines has introduced the updated NWC Portugal (NWC PT) and NWC Canary Islands (NWC CAI) services, offering reduced transit times and fixed departure days. NWC PT now includes the ports of Rotterdam, Moerdijk, Antwerp, Vigo, Leixões, Setúbal and Montoir, while NWC CAI now includes Hamburg, Thamesport, Moerdijk, Bilbao, Vigo, Leixões, Las Palmas, Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Sines.
