The first transhipment of an ocean container ship took place at the new T3 berth in the Port of Gdansk — Baltic Hub received the MSC Stacey, a vessel with a length of almost 366 meters and a capacity of 15,000 TEU. The visit took place on March 30 as part of a side event and became an important milestone in the implementation of the large-scale T3 project.
ÖBB Rail Cargo Group has introduced a new direct train connection between Vienna and Duisburg in Germany. The return journey will operate twice a week, strengthening intermodal flows between Austria and Germany.
AS Tallinna Sadam signed an agreement with the Estonian Ministry of Climate to transfer eight land plots with a total area of approximately 165 thousand square meters to the state. These territories are necessary for the construction of the Rail Baltica railway station in the Port of Muuga, a key infrastructure facility of the international corridor.
Estonian Minister of Economy and Industry Erkki Keldo signed an order approving the new Rail Baltica route in Pärnu County. PSA International, DNV Singapore and Pacific International Lines (PIL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together to measure, report and verify carbon emissions and develop sustainable solutions to reduce emissions in the maritime and logistics industries. The signing took place on 24 March at PSA’s headquarters in Singapore.
