At the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026, Ukraine signed a series of agreements with the European Investment Bank and the European Commission that will unlock over €470 million in funding to restore critical infrastructure and stimulate the economy. ÖBB Rail Cargo Group has announced a significant reduction in transit times on the TransFER Budapest–Balkans route following the reopening of the Kelebia–Subotica rail border crossing between Hungary and Serbia. LTG Infra, the Lithuanian company responsible for the LTG Group’s railway infrastructure, has decided to terminate its contract with general contractor Rizzani de Eccher for the construction of the Rail Baltica bridge over the Neris River. This decision follows a comprehensive assessment of work progress, the contractor’s financial health, and its fulfillment of contractual obligations. The company emphasized that resuming construction is a priority to ensure the strategic project remains on schedule.
