EDECS and MEDLOG held a contract signing ceremony in Cairo to implement the dry port project in the 10th of Ramadan City. The new logistics facility will occupy 189,000 square meters and aims to expand Egypt’s cargo handling capabilities and modernize the country’s trade infrastructure.
The partnership combines the regional engineering and construction group EDECS and the international logistics operator MEDLOG, part of the MSC Group. The parties emphasize that the project aims to develop trade, transportation, and Egypt’s economic potential.
The dry port will be implemented using a design-and-build EPC contract, encompassing design, procurement, and construction. The project includes extensive earthworks, paving, road marking, utility installation, and the expansion of key port infrastructure.
