GEODIS has announced the launch of its first multi-functional port hub in Le Havre, France. Located within the country’s largest container port, the new facility is designed to provide customers with comprehensive, door-to-door service for import and export operations. The opening of the center is part of the company’s strategy to strengthen its presence at key French logistics hubs.

GEODIS highlighted the vital role the port of Le Havre plays in the country’s foreign trade. In 2025, the port handled over 3.2 million containers, and its network of shipping lines connects it to more than 700 ports worldwide. Consequently, the new center will serve as a strategic hub for the company, facilitating the efficient management of international cargo flows.

A distinctive feature of the new complex is the consolidation of all four of GEODIS’s business lines in a single location. The center will provide services spanning express delivery and distribution, international freight forwarding (sea, air, and rail), road transport, and contract logistics. The company expects that integrating these services into a unified structure will optimize supply chain management, improve cargo handling efficiency, and reduce operational disruptions.
